Student Directions:

  1. Select a topic that you enjoy and write about it. The topic may be about (but is not limited to) a real person, hobby, place, or activity. It should not be a made-up story.
  2. The entries may be hand-written or typed (not to exceed 200 words). It is preferable that the entry be typed. Entries must be written in English.
  3. Read over your story carefully.
  4. Correct any spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors. You may ask an adult to help you edit your writing.
  5. Attach the entry to this form and submit to Lancaster Newspapers.
