  1. The Culinary Trivia Contest is sponsored by the Intelligencer Journal’s Lifestyle/Food section.

 

  1. Trivia questions are published in the Lifestyle/Food section in the Intelligencer Journal the first Wednesday of each month, from May 7 through November 5, 2008 . A total of 7 questions will be published, one per month.

 

  1. To enter, read the question in each month’s Intell Lifestyle/Food section on the dates listed below (#4). Send an e-mail to LSchmidt@LNPnews.com with the following information. Incomplete entries will be invalid.

a.        Your answer to the Trivia Question

b.       Your complete name (as it will appear in print)

c.        Your complete address

d.       Your day and evening telephone numbers

e.        Your unblocked e-mail address.

 

  1. A random drawing will be held each month on the Monday following the entry deadline. The first entry chosen that has provided the correct answer to the trivia question will be declared the winner. Winner will be contacted by e-mail or telephone. Judges’ decisions are final.

  1. No purchase necessary.  Trivia questions are available on a one-per-person-per-month basis at the Lancaster Newspapers offices in downtown Lancaster at 8 West King Street , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, during office hours ( 8 AM to 5 PM ) each contest month.

 

  1. Limit one e-mailed answer per entrant per month. Only e-mailed entries will be accepted. No mailed or hand-delivered entries accepted.

 

  1. Winners agree to allow their name and town to be announced in the Intelligencer Journal Lifestyle/Food section and also on LancasterOnline.com.

 

  1. The prize is a $20.00 gift card/certificate to Weis Markets.  Limit one prize per household address.

 

  1. You must be 18 or older to play.

 

  1. If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. may substitute a prize of like or equal value.

 

  1. Should winner be unable to accept the prize, a second drawing will be held to choose a new winner.

 

  1. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes on prizes won.  No cash substitute for prize.

 

  1. Employees of Steinman Enterprises and their household members are not eligible to play.
