- The Holiday Riddle Contest is sponsored by the Intelligencer Journal’s Lifestyle section.
- Written clues and photo clues are published occasionally in the Lifestyle section in the Intelligencer Journal during the month of December 2008. A total of 4 riddles will be published.
- To enter, look for clues in the Lifestyle section. Send an e-mail to LSchmidt@LNPnews.com with the following information. Incomplete entries will be invalid.
a. Your answers to all 4 riddles published in December 2008.
b. Your complete name (as it will appear in print).
c. Your complete address.
d. Your day and evening telephone numbers.
e. Your unblocked e-mail address.
- A random drawing will be held by January 6, 2009. The first entry chosen that has provided the correct answers to all four riddles will be declared the winner. Winner will be contacted by e-mail or telephone. Judges’ decisions are final.
- No purchase necessary. All 4 riddles are available at the Lancaster Newspapers offices in downtown Lancaster at 8 West King Street, limit one-copy-per-person-per visit, during office hours (8 AM to 5 PM) during December 2008.
- Deadline to enter all four answers via e-mail is midnight, Dec. 31, 2008.
- Limit one e-mailed answer per entrant per month. Only e-mailed entries will be accepted. No mailed or hand-delivered entries accepted.
- Winners agree to allow their name and town to be announced in the Intelligencer Journal Lifestyle section and also on LancasterOnline.com.
- The prize is a $25.00 gift card/certificate to a local music entertainment store. Limit one prize per household address.
- You must be 18 or older to play.
- If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
- Should winner be unable to accept the prize, a second drawing will be held to choose a new winner.
- Winners are responsible for any and all taxes on prizes won. No cash substitute for prize.
- Employees of Steinman Enterprises and their household members are not eligible to play.
